Had to share this short video with you.  I think that the concept is brilliant, even though some of the materials aren't exactly eco-friendly.

If you've dreamed of living in an energy efficient  mound (like a posh hobbit) then this is ideally suited for you.

If I had some land I would give this some serious consideration, the build costs are low, the time of build is minimal and the end result is definitely eye-catching.  Though I feel that the population will be split in terms of loving or loathing it - much like Marmite. 

I'm a convert though!
